TechFlow reported on February 20 that, according to Cointelegraph, top crypto investment firms including Pantera Capital, Dragonfly, Maelstrom, and CMCC Global expressed positive views toward AI agents at the Consensus 2025 Hong Kong conference, but all indicated they have not yet made related investments.
Paul Veradittakit, managing partner at Pantera Capital, pointed out that AI agents hold significant application potential in the cryptocurrency trading space and could drive exponential growth in trading volume. Dragonfly partner GM added that blockchain technology could enhance the security of AI agents through incentive mechanisms. Attendee investors unanimously agreed that the AI agent market remains in its early stages and will require three to five years of development before reaching an investable maturity level.
