TechFlow news: According to official announcements, digital asset custodian Copper has partnered with DigiFT to provide custody support for uMINT, the first tokenized investment fund launched by UBS Asset Management. uMINT is a money market fund built on Ethereum blockchain technology, designed to offer institutional-grade compliance, transparency, and real-time redemption through high-quality money market instruments.
DigiFT, licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore, is the first regulated on-chain exchange for physical assets, offering continuous liquidity trading services to investors via an automated market maker (AMM) mechanism. Simon Morgan, Chief Commercial Officer at Copper, stated that this collaboration will deliver safer tokenized investment opportunities and accelerate the adoption of institutional-grade assets.
Henry Zhang, CEO of DigiFT, commented that the partnership provides a stable and compliant solution for investors entering the Web3 space. Copper's ClearLoop technology will also enable collateral management and trade settlement across multiple exchanges, further enhancing capital efficiency.
