TechFlow reports that on February 14, according to an official announcement from zkLend, since the hacker failed to contact the project team by the deadline, the zkLend team has filed incident reports with Hong Kong Police, the FBI, and the Department of Homeland Security, initiating investigations.
The investigation indicates that the hacker is linked to previous attacks on other DeFi protocols. The project team has been monitoring fund flows and identified multiple related wallet addresses; this information has already been submitted to centralized exchanges. zkLend will release a plan for fund recovery and disbursement next week, while its security team is preparing a post-incident analysis report.
Previous report: zkLend was hacked, and the team used the ZEND token deployer account to issue an announcement proposing that the hacker could keep 10% of the funds as a white-hat bounty.
