TechFlow news — On February 13, according to a Bittensor Discord announcement, its Dynamic TAO (dTAO) upgrade will go live between 17:00 and 18:00 Beijing time (4:00–5:00 EST) on February 13.
The upgrade will change Bittensor's token issuance mechanism, shifting from a trusted capital distribution model reliant on large validators to a fully market-driven issuance model. After the upgrade, each AI subnet will operate with its own independent token, and issuance amounts will be dynamically adjusted based on market prices, aiming to enhance fairness and liquidity across the ecosystem.
