TechFlow reports that on February 7, according to Cryptonews, Apple has blocked Japanese users from downloading cryptocurrency exchange apps including Bybit, Bitget, MEXC, Kucoin, and Bitcastle. This action may be related to a warning issued by Japan's Financial Services Agency (FSA) in November last year. On November 28, 2024, the FSA warned these exchanges for offering cryptocurrency trading services to Japanese residents without proper registration. Notably, downloads from Google Play Store remain unaffected for now.
