TechFlow reported on January 30 that, according to The Block, in an unofficial on-chain vote within the Ethereum community, 99% of voters supported Danny Ryan as the next leader of the Ethereum Foundation (EF).
The vote involved 300 wallets holding more than 50,000 ETH (approximately $160 million). The informal poll was initiated by Ethereum developer Fabrice Cheng.
Meanwhile, Consensys CEO Joseph Lubin has suggested that EF should be co-led by Danny Ryan and Jerome de Tychey, President of ETH France.
Notably, Vitalik Buterin retains final decision-making authority over changes to the foundation's leadership.
