TechFlow reports on January 12 that Scam Sniffer has issued a warning confirming that the newly launched "NUDEAI" and "MAGA" tokens on the Base chain are fraudulent. Attackers have implanted backdoor code in the smart contracts, moving from SafeMath.mod() to the MerkleProof.verifyCalldata() function, enabling unauthorized asset transfers without user consent.
The token contract addresses involved are: NUDEAI (0xcb33289e...85d4cf95af3574) and MAGA (0xc20fd8...f703e8b522372901). Scam Sniffer提醒 users to beware of such scam tokens that embed backdoors via the transferFrom function, and recommends conducting security verification before interacting with any unknown tokens.
