TechFlow reported on January 12 that according to feedback from @alexzuo4, the Gambling Regulatory Authority (GRA) of Singapore appears to have imposed access restrictions on the crypto prediction market platform Polymarket. Users attempting to access the Polymarket official website from Singapore are shown a message stating: "You are trying to access an illegal gambling website hosted by an unlicensed gambling service provider. Under Section 20 of the Gambling Control Act 2022, Singapore Pools is the only licensed online gambling operator in the country. Any individual participating in unlicensed gambling services may face penalties including a fine of up to USD 10,000 or imprisonment for up to six months."
