TechFlow reports on January 9 that Manta Network, a modular L2 platform, has announced a major upgrade in performance and security. Manta Network has partnered with Symbiotic to implement Fast Finality, eliminating the traditional 3–7 day challenge period of Optimistic Rollups and enabling instant withdrawals—significantly enhancing user experience across Manta's CeDeFi and cross-chain products.
This functionality will be secured through restaking the native token $MANTA. Users will be able to bridge their MANTA tokens to the Ethereum mainnet to participate in Symbiotic staking, earning points and potential airdrops. Currently, Symbiotic is the second-largest shared security protocol after Eigenlayer.
