TechFlow reports on January 7 that the decentralized science protocol BIO Protocol has announced the official launch of trading for six new IP tokens. These tokens span multiple cutting-edge medical research fields, including Alzheimer's disease (CLAW), industrial hemp fiber (HEMPY), ovarian aging (OVARIA), and cryopreservation (CRYORAT).
This launch marks part of a series of recent major developments for BIO Protocol. The protocol launched its native token $BIO on Binance and Ethereum mainnets on January 3 and plans to bring $BIO to the Solana and Base networks soon. Additionally, BIO Protocol intends to launch two new BioDAOs—Long COVID Labs (LCL) and Curetopia—this month.
BIO Protocol is developing a new decentralized science (DeSci) launchpad aimed at enabling more permissionless BioDAO launches. The protocol also revealed it will discuss the future development of DeSci within the Solana ecosystem with the Solana Foundation and developers this week.
