TechFlow news, on December 25, according to Axios, multiple sources confirmed that Founders Fund, the premier venture capital firm founded by Peter Thiel, is launching fundraising for its third growth fund with a target size of approximately $3 billion. The firm's portfolio includes unicorn companies such as SpaceX and Stripe, demonstrating strong investment performance.
According to disclosures, Founders Fund raised $3.4 billion for its second growth fund and $1.8 billion for its eighth early-stage fund in 2022. Affected by market conditions, the firm strategically restructured its early-stage fund at the beginning of 2023, splitting it into two funds, among which the newly established "Fund IX" has not yet started deployment.
