TechFlow news — On December 25, according to Montenegrin media outlet Vijesti, the full bench of Montenegro's Constitutional Court unanimously rejected the appeal filed by Terraform Labs founder Do Kwon against his extradition ruling. With the appeal dismissed, Montenegro’s Minister of Justice will now make the final decision on whether to extradite Do Kwon to South Korea or the United States. Given the previous stance of Montenegro’s Ministry of Justice, extradition to the U.S. appears more likely.
Do Kwon is under investigation and facing charges in both South Korea and the U.S. over the Terra/LUNA collapse. He was arrested in Montenegro in March 2023 for using a fraudulent passport.
