TechFlow news, on December 13, according to Decrypt, decentralized Bitcoin mining protocol Prosper announced the procurement of over 7,000 ASIC miners from Bitmain and completion of a new strategic funding round. Investors include Metalpha, Waterdrip Capital, BitMining, and Animoca Brands.
Prosper has currently deployed 1 EH/s of hashing power, with 250 PH/s already operational on its dApp, and plans to add 5 EH/s in the medium term. Since November, the protocol has distributed over 2 BTC in rewards to $PROS holders. The project has 170MW of pipeline capacity, and partners will delegate over 200 BTC to the DAO, providing TVL opportunities for $PROS holders.
