TechFlow news, December 10 — Hyperbolic, a Web3 AI cloud platform, announced the completion of a $12 million Series A funding round led by Variant and Polychain Capital. Participants include institutional investors such as Chapter One, Lightspeed Faction, Bankless Ventures, GSR, IOSG, Vertex, Blockchain Builders Fund, Wintermute, Alumni Ventures, Ambush Capital, and several angel investors.
With this round, Hyperbolic's total raised capital reaches $20 million. The funds will be used to expand its engineering and strategic teams and advance market deployment. The project plans to launch its own blockchain in 2025, leveraging its decentralized orchestration layer Hyper-dOS to aggregate global GPU computing resources and deliver verifiable AI services, addressing the challenges of high costs and unequal distribution of computational resources.
