TechFlow reported, according to Cointelegraph, that Telegram founder Pavel Durov appeared for the first time at a Paris court on December 6 regarding a legal case involving allegations that the Telegram application facilitated criminal activities.
Durov appeared in court at 10 a.m. local time, accompanied by lawyers David-Olivier Kaminski and Christophe Ingrain.
An anonymous source familiar with the matter said the questioning focused on accusations related to Telegram potentially being used for illegal transactions. Pavel Durov expressed trust in the French judicial system but declined to elaborate on the details of the case.
