TechFlow news — On December 5, according to the Financial Times, Marc Andreessen, co-founder of venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), is helping Musk recruit talent for the newly established Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
According to people familiar with the matter, although Andreessen holds no formal position, he plays a key role in screening and recommending senior-level talent. Andreessen has previously invested hundreds of millions of dollars in Musk's ventures including xAI and SpaceX, and supported his $44 billion acquisition of the X platform.
