TechFlow reports on December 4 that, according to The Block, Botanix Labs has announced the launch of Aragog, the final testnet for its Bitcoin Layer 2 project Spiderchain. This testnet will introduce Schnorr threshold signatures optimized with a flexible round mechanism and roll out updated versions of Palladium, a Bitcoin-backed stablecoin, and Blitzy, a decentralized exchange. Previous testnet iterations attracted approximately 2 million transactions, 400,000 unique addresses, and 20,000 token contracts. Notably, Spiderchain utilizes a randomly distributed multisignature scheme and plans to launch its mainnet in the first quarter of 2025.
