TechFlow news, on November 26, according to cnBeta, OpenAI has added a "Open SearchGPT" option to the "Shortcuts" app on iPhone and iPad, allowing users to launch the ChatGPT app and activate web search functionality via shortcuts. Users need to update to the latest version of the ChatGPT app to enable the SearchGPT action within shortcuts.
The SearchGPT feature was first launched at the end of October this year, aiming to enhance the web search experience by providing more relevant links and contextual information, while also supporting follow-up questions from users. Currently, SearchGPT is accessible to ChatGPT Plus and ChatGPT Teams subscribers, with OpenAI planning to extend access to free users in the coming months.
