TechFlow reported on October 28 that, according to Cointelegraph, Bitcoin-native stablecoin project bitSmiley has announced the completion of a $10 million Series II funding round. The round attracted several well-known investment firms including MH Ventures and Skyland Ventures, providing strong support for bitSmiley to expand liquidity and use cases of Bitcoin in decentralized applications.
J Yee, co-founder of bitSmiley, said the funds will be primarily used to further optimize BTCFi infrastructure, expand the team, and accelerate the rollout of innovative features, aiming to promote broader adoption of Bitcoin within the DeFi space.
