TechFlow reported on October 24 that an address marked by Arkham as a suspected ApeCoin treasury address (0x21...7946) transferred 4.578 million APE, worth approximately $5.45 million, to the Wintermute OTC address (0xDb...B910), at 7:08 AM (UTC+8) today, potentially indicating another OTC sale.
According to Spot On Chain, since the launch of ApeChain, three wallets that originally received APE from ApeCoin distributors in 2022 have collectively transferred 12.47 million APE—worth around $17.54 million—to Wintermute's OTC address. Among the top 100 APE-holding wallets, 84 still hold a combined total of 382.71 million APE, valued at approximately $443.9 million, representing 51% of the circulating supply. All these wallets received their APE tokens from the same distribution sources as the aforementioned three wallets in 2022.
