TechFlow reports, on October 21, according to on-chain data, the Tapioca Foundation yesterday sent an on-chain message proposing a settlement agreement to the attacker, offering a $1 million USDT bounty unconditionally.
It added that this amount is significantly higher than the standard bounty rate (typically 10% of stolen funds), in exchange for the attacker returning the remaining $3.7 million, and urged the attacker to contact the official team via email before 4:00 PM UTC on October 22, 2024.
Previous report, the TapiocaDAO attacker has already swapped approximately 21 million TAP tokens for 591 ETH.
