TechFlow news, on October 17, at the 10th Blockchain Global Summit held in Shanghai, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin delivered a speech stating, "In the future, Ethereum can achieve over 100,000 TPS through L2s, transfers between any chains can be completed within 2 seconds, and there will also be a unified user experience. Ethereum's infrastructure is expanding as well, and secure interoperability is more important than EVM compatibility."
Vitalik also pointed out that Ethereum's current main issue is the lack of a unified ecosystem—today's Ethereum resembles 34 different chains, whereas in the future it should function as one cohesive ecosystem. Solutions include chain-specific addresses, among others.
