TechFlow news, on October 16, according to Protos, Terra founder Do Kwon was arrested in Montenegro on March 23, 2023, but his electronic devices were not handed over to the investigating judge until June that year. After police failed to promptly seize his cryptocurrency private keys, digital assets were successfully transferred from prison. Two sources said that during Do Kwon's detention, at least three cryptocurrency transactions were conducted using Do Kwon's crypto wallet. These activities were linked to accounts associated with a mobile phone company in Podgorica. One source claimed that his arrest had been planned, as Montenegrin border authorities had received reports about Do Kwon’s forged passport. The Montenegrin Minister of Justice has yet to decide whether to extradite him to South Korea or the United States.
