TechFlow news: The development team behind the Ethereum NFT card game Parallel announced a new 3D first-person shooter game project, "Tau Ceti," at the Token2049 conference in Singapore.
The game will allow players to use their Parallel NFT avatars to battle on a sci-fi planet. Unlike the upcoming AI-centric game Colony launching on the Solana blockchain, Tau Ceti will return to Base, Coinbase's Ethereum Layer 2 network, and run on the recently launched B3 gaming network.
The game is scheduled for an early alpha test on PC in 2025, with potential future releases planned for mobile and console platforms.
The Parallel team emphasized that while they are developing Tau Ceti, their primary focus remains delivering meaningful updates to the TCG and the Alpha version of Colony.
