TechFlow reports, according to official news, that Ethos Wallet, a wallet within the Sui ecosystem, announced on September 10, 2024, its plan to gradually shut down all of its Sui blockchain products. The shutdown will include the Chrome extension, iOS and Android mobile apps, blockchain explorer, Sui dApps, as well as EthosConnect and APIs for developers. Ethos Wallet will maintain its existing products until November 1, 2024, after which they will be officially discontinued. The team recommends users migrate to other trusted wallets, such as Sui Wallet developed by Mysten Labs, as soon as possible.
Previous report, Ethos Wallet raised $4.2 million in seed funding in January 2023, led by Boldstart Ventures and gumi Cryptos Capital. At the time of the announcement, the Ethos Wallet Chrome extension had reached 310,000 installations, with an average of 108,000 weekly active users.
