TechFlow News, September 4 — According to an official announcement, the decentralized funding platform Octant has partnered with crowdfunding platform Gitcoin to jointly launch a Quadratic Funding (QF) round aimed at supporting community-driven projects. This funding round will provide a matching pool of up to 10 ETH, with fund allocation determined by community voting.
The application period runs from September 4, 12:00 UTC to September 10, 23:59 UTC. The donation period will take place from September 12, 12:00 UTC to September 26, 23:59 UTC. Projects must present a clear roadmap, adhere to high ethical standards, and demonstrate positive community impact to qualify.
Mashal Waqar, Marketing Lead at Octant, stated that this collaboration is about more than funding—it aims to strengthen connections between communities and promote collective growth. She emphasized the growing need for funding in community, content, and education spaces, noting that this round offers builders an opportunity to continue their work and create lasting impact in Web3.
