TechFlow reports that The Open Network (TON) has officially announced the sixth season of The Open League (TOL) will launch on September 12.
TON stated that this season's TOL will shift from a competitive event to a platform for ecosystem-wide development, aiming to achieve 500 million active wallet users and $1 billion in total value locked (TVL).
For users, TOL is introducing two types of airdrops—Normie and Degen—covering the App, DeFi, and NFT ecosystems. Participants must mint SBT badges on the TON Society website.
For projects, App League participants will receive user airdrops. The DeFi League will have two tracks: TVL and trading volume. The top three collections in the NFT League will share Telegram advertising and KOL campaign resources.
In addition, top-performing projects across each league will gain special privileges through Gateway. TON also released results from Season Five, including a 48% growth in on-chain active users, reaching 993,876.
