TechFlow news: Puffer Finance has released its latest roadmap update. According to the announcement, Puffer plans to conduct a token generation event (TGE) in early Q4 this year to launch its governance token $PUFI. $PUFI will serve as the governance token for UniFi AVS, UniFi Rollup, and Puffer LRT. Additionally, Puffer stated that it currently has over 500k ETH in total value locked (TVL), with its ecosystem continuing to grow. More than 5,000 node operators have contributed to its decentralized infrastructure.
UniFi AVS is scheduled to launch by the end of August—it will be the first AVS powering UniFi-based rollups and providing pre-confirmations for L2 transactions.
The Puffer UniFi Rollup testnet will go live in September, serving as the first atomically composable rollup that enables users to instantly withdraw funds back to L1 within the same block.
Puffer Restaking V2 is planned for early Q4, introducing advanced features such as fast-path rewards and global forced anti-slashing, while reducing collateral requirements for node operators by 50%.
The withdrawal system will open in early Q4.
