TechFlow news, cryptocurrency exchange Mudrex has won a ruling from the Delhi High Court ordering India's Ministry of Communications to block 38 websites impersonating Mudrex for fraudulent activities within one week.
Edul Patel, CEO of Mudrex, estimated that around 1,000 retail investors may have been defrauded, with losses exceeding $50,000. Fraudsters posed as Mudrex employees on Telegram, luring investors with promises of rewards and job opportunities. Amit Rangari, Mudrex's legal head, said the company had already filed a police complaint in Bangalore on March 23.
