TechFlow reports that blockchain game Illuvium has announced a major update patch for Arena and Overworld coming next week. The update includes several key improvements covering general enhancements, Overworld economic adjustments, Arena optimizations, and Survival mode refinements.
The most notable addition is the newly introduced Gauntlet: Leviathan mode. In this mode, the Illuvials, weapons, and gear appearing in player shops will be based on their actual collections and reflect their true power levels.
This means owning and upgrading Illuvials will provide significant in-game advantages. Features of Leviathan mode include single-instance display, level retention, dynamic shop refreshes, and other mechanics designed to deliver a more strategic and personalized gameplay experience.
In addition, the update includes various improvements such as IMX plugin upgrades, client auto-restart functionality, optimization of the forging system, adjusted Illuvial spawn rates, changes to fusion costs, and more—aimed at enhancing overall gameplay and balancing the in-game economy.
