TechFlow News, Offchain Labs, the developer of Arbitrum, has released its future technology roadmap, reaffirming the core principle of "Your Chain, Your Rules." Key highlights of the roadmap include:

Stylus will launch on the Arbitrum One and Nova mainnets in early September 2024, enabling development with WASM-based languages such as Rust, C, and C++;

BoLD and censorship timeout features will roll out in the second half of 2024 to enhance security and decentralization;

A decentralized sequencer is expected to be implemented in 2025, distributing transaction ordering responsibilities;

Fast withdrawal functionality will be released in Q3 2024, enabling rapid settlement between AnyTrust chains and their parent chains;

The Chain Clusters initiative is planned for launch in 2025, aiming to reduce cross-chain communication latency.
In addition, Offchain Labs plans to introduce multi-client support and an adaptive pricing mechanism in the first half of 2025 to improve performance and efficiency. The company is also actively researching the integration of zero-knowledge proof technology into the Arbitrum chain.
