TechFlow reported on August 19 that UniSat announced the launch of BRC-20 inscription services on the Fractal Bitcoin testnet, a Bitcoin scaling network. To avoid conflicts with existing assets on the Bitcoin mainnet, the BRC-20 rules on Fractal have been specially customized: token tickers are restricted to 6–12 bytes in length and cannot use the 4- or 5-character tickers already taken on the mainnet. Tickers may include letters (uppercase and lowercase), numbers, and underscores, offering 63 available characters. All BRC-20 assets on Fractal support fair issuance and self-issuance.
