TechFlow News — On August 7, according to Montenegrin daily Vijesti, the Supreme Court Council of Montenegro will decide by this weekend whether to postpone the ruling on the extradition of Do Kwon, co-founder of Terraform Labs, to South Korea. The Office of the Republic's Chief Prosecutor has requested the Supreme Court to review the legality of the appellate court's ruling and proposed delaying its enforcement, arguing that the appellate court’s decision violated the Law on International Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters.
The prosecutor's office urges the Supreme Court to re-examine the rulings made by the higher court and appellate court, verify whether conditions for Do Kwon’s extradition to South Korea are met, and reject the extradition request from the United States. This decision will significantly impact Do Kwon’s future.
