TechFlow news, July 23 — According to Cointelegraph, SingularityNET, an AI platform developer, announced a $53 million investment in modular supercomputing focused on decentralized artificial general intelligence (AGI). The first phase will invest $26.5 million, utilizing Ecoblox modular data centers and high-performance hardware from companies such as Nvidia and AMD. This supercomputer will optimize training for deep neural networks and large language models, advancing AGI's continuous learning and self-improvement.
Ben Goertzel, CEO of SingularityNET, said: "The recent remarkable progress in the field of artificial intelligence is the result of convergence across multiple dimensions, including sophisticated learning algorithms and cognitive architectures, as well as massive datasets, processing infrastructure, and energy."
