TechFlow reported on July 16 that, according to Coindesk, Polygon Labs has released the latest version of its zero-knowledge proof system, Plonky3, which is more flexible than its predecessor Plonky2. Zero-knowledge proof systems are core components of blockchain ecosystems, responsible for generating proofs to summarize off-chain transactions and feed information back to the main chain. Plonky3 is now released as open-source software under MIT and Apache licenses. Polygon plans to integrate all its proof systems into a single codebase and framework to enhance future technological development.
