TechFlow news: Gitcoin has released its Gitcoin Grants 2024 strategy and updates. Due to time constraints, only three rounds of Gitcoin Grants (GG) will be held in 2024:
1. GG20 (completed): April 23 – May 7
OSS Program (4 rounds) with a $1 million matching fund pool
5+ community rounds
2. GG21: August 7 – 21
No OSS round
Ecosystem 'focus' round shares the stage with community rounds
10 community rounds
$125,000 matching funds for the first 5 community rounds
3. GG22: Tentatively launching at the end of October, exact dates to be announced in the coming weeks

Gitcoin emphasized that despite the reduced number of grant rounds, it will continue supporting the development of open-source software and community projects through rich community initiatives and matching funding.
