TechFlow reports that on June 23, NFT project Pudgy Penguins announced the formation of a new parent company, Igloo Inc., together with its NFT licensing platform Overpass IP. Igloo sits above Pudgy Penguins, Overpass, and another undisclosed entity, with a mission to build the largest on-chain community, drive the consumer crypto revolution, and provide new users with a non-dilutive crypto ecosystem.
According to Igloo's official Medium page, Igloo is building a mainstream Web3 IP ecosystem and infrastructure to support on-chain brand development and consumer engagement. Igloo emphasizes that its goal of driving cryptocurrency adoption does not rely on the volatility of crypto assets, but rather focuses on pushing the boundaries of on-chain experiences.
