TechFlow reports, according to on-chain analyst Yujin's monitoring, CoinStats was attacked last night when hackers exploited the application to send phishing links via notifications to users, affecting approximately 1,590 wallets.
The most severely affected may be a wallet belonging to Blurr.eth: it lost 3,657 MKR (worth $8.7 million), which the hacker immediately sold on-chain for 2,482 ETH. This caused MKR’s price to plunge from $2,462 to $2,280, a sharp drop of 7% in a short period.
