TechFlow reports that the Klaytn Foundation has announced the launch of the Kaia v1.0.0 testnet "Kairos." Kaia v1.0.0 marks the first official release of the Kaia chain. The network will initially transition via a hard fork on the Klaytn network. At the moment the hard fork is applied, the Klaytn Baobab testnet will transition into the Kairos testnet. This release includes the Kaia Transition hard fork and the KIP-160 hard fork configuration. The mainnet hard fork block number will be announced in the next version.
Earlier report: The Kaia project, merging Finschia and Klaytn, is set to launch by the end of June and will initially go live on Klaytn.
