TechFlow news — Bitget has appointed Gracy Chen as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective May this year. Former CEO Sandra Lou will be stepping down to focus on personal endeavors. With over 10 years of experience in management, marketing, and investment, Gracy joined Bitget in 2022 as Managing Director. During her tenure, she led the management team in advancing Bitget's global expansion strategy, securing high-profile endorsements such as Lionel Messi, building an international alliance network, growing the user base fourfold, and elevating Bitget’s total trading volume and overall strength into the global top five.
Gracy actively promotes integrating blockchain with social good, launching initiatives such as #Blockchain4Youth to encourage young talent to embrace blockchain technology, and #Blockchain4Her, a philanthropic campaign supporting female entrepreneurs and professionals in the industry. She is also a contributing writer for leading media outlets including Forbes and Cointelegraph. Additionally, Gracy was invited to join Killer Whales, the first crypto-themed TV reality show produced by a Hollywood team, serving as a judge to identify promising Web3 startups. Gracy holds a bachelor's degree from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
