This move aims to respond to community demands and enhance the security of asset delegation. Proposal REP-015, developed based on an in-depth analysis of smart contract methodologies within the crypto community, calls for fundamental improvements to the Axie smart contracts. The Technical Expert Committee—including Owl of Moistness, Maxbrand99, freak, Duke, and dw—recommends a hard fork of the Ronin blockchain with direct contract modifications to enable stronger asset management capabilities and avoid future multiple hard forks by adopting ERC1967. This vote will determine whether the community accepts this upgrade strategy.
