TechFlow news: The mainnet of Cardano Connect (CNS), a DID platform within the Cardano ecosystem, has been deployed and launched on the mainnet yesterday. As an important social tool in the Cardano ecosystem, CNS empowers users to build their own digital identity, supporting the use of .ada domains as entry points for Web3 social identities. Additionally, the team revealed an airdrop plan in a Medium article—holders of CNS .ada domains will be eligible to receive CNS token airdrops.
The .ada domain introduced by CNS is similar to ENS with social profiles on Cardano. By holding a .ada domain, users can enjoy deeper Web3 social experiences within the Cardano ecosystem, connect with friends, and further expand their Web3 social graph. Currently, CNS has integrated with Yoroi Wallet, one of the leading wallets in the Cardano blockchain ecosystem, enabling users to receive token transfers across the ADA ecosystem via their .ada domains.
It is reported that CNS is incubated and backed by Emurgo and Adaverse, founding entities of the Cardano blockchain. Emurgo is the official commercial arm of Cardano, dedicated to driving widespread adoption and increasing the visibility of the Cardano ecosystem.
