TechFlow reported that during the Bitcoin halving, UniSat announced it is actively advancing standardization efforts related to brc20-swap, in addition to improving its existing services. Maintainers hope UniSat will provide a complete swap specification to clearly define swap behavior and reduce ambiguity. UniSat has committed to completing the draft of the specification this week and will submit it to the BRC20 Oversight Committee for review this Friday.
In addition, UniSat will fully open-source its swap codebase in the first week of May, making it available for anyone to use. It will also assist BestInSlots in completing a second implementation on OPI, ensuring consistency with OPI's implementation. While advancing the brc-20 standard, UniSat is simultaneously strengthening infrastructure to enhance user experience.
