TechFlow reports that Victory Securities has launched a stock and cryptocurrency trading app called VictoryX, becoming the first licensed financial institution in Hong Kong to offer such services.
The app allows users to trade both stocks and cryptocurrencies on the same platform. Approved by the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC), it is the first brokerage in Hong Kong permitted to conduct "crypto-in, crypto-out" operations. Retail investors can freely buy and sell investment products across multiple markets via the VictoryX platform, including virtual assets, Hong Kong stocks, and US stocks. The "crypto-in, crypto-out" functionality is expected to go live within this month, enabling comprehensive portfolio allocation between traditional finance and Web3.0 virtual assets.
