TechFlow News, Stader Ethereum has announced the launch of Health Factor (HF) — a parameter designed to ensure fund safety. The SD Utility Pool enables node operators to run ETHx validators without holding SD.
Early ETHx node operators were required to provide 4 ETH per validator plus SD worth 4 ETH + 0.4 ETH. With the introduction of the SD Utility Pool, operators can now simply draw the required $SD from the pool by paying a small usage fee.
The higher the HF value, the safer the $ETHx node is against liquidation. If HF <= 1, the node will be liquidated, allowing the deposited $ETH to recover the utilized $SD. As part of the SD Splash season, $50,000 in rewards will be distributed to $ETHx validators to celebrate the launch of the SD Utility Pool.
