TechFlow reports that on April 2, Sheikh Ali Al Maktoum, a member of Dubai's prominent Al Maktoum ruling family, confirmed his attendance at the "Web3 Summit Dubai," a series of thematic conferences hosted by Web3 Summit, BlockNews, and LBank Labs.
Born into the prestigious Al Maktoum family, Sheikh Ali Al Maktoum recently announced plans to expand investments in Asia’s financial hubs, including establishing a family office in Hong Kong. Bloomberg Television reported that the family office is currently evaluating projects in artificial intelligence, construction, new energy vehicles, tourism, and fintech in Hong Kong, aiming to invest and scale operations in Dubai and the UAE. The office is expected to manage up to $500 million in assets.
The event will be held at Atlantis, The Palm—one of Dubai’s most luxurious hotels—and is expected to attract over 3,000 attendees and nearly 100 distinguished guests. Over two days, the summit will feature multiple industry-focused sessions, keynote speeches, panel discussions, and private dinners, bringing together ecosystem builders to explore the latest trends in Web3 and collaboratively foster industry-wide cooperation.
