TechFlow reports, according to The Block, that blob transactions on Ethereum have surged beyond the set capacity. This surge in blob transactions is linked to the introduction of blob inscriptions.
Analysis from a Dune Analytics dashboard maintained by Hildobby reveals a significant trend: 40% of blob transactions are now related to inscriptions.
Data from EtherNow further highlights a substantial mempool backlog, with 160 blobs currently awaiting processing. Since Ethereum can include a maximum of six blobs per block, this indicates the backlog exceeds the data capacity of a single block by 40 times.
Previous report, according to The Block, Dune Analytics data shows Ethereum blobs are being used to create inscriptions at a record pace, similar to Ordinals on Bitcoin.
