TechFlow reported that Kyle Davies, co-founder of the crypto hedge fund Three Arrows Capital (3AC), expressed no regret over losing billions in investor funds, as he seeks to avoid imprisonment. On the Unchained Podcast, he showed no remorse for the firm's bankruptcy, joking that such situations happen from time to time. Davies plans to avoid returning to Singapore to evade potential jail time.
He claims to currently be in Europe and expressed pride in his now-defunct company OPNX, which fully shut down on February 14. He also denied allegations of failing to cooperate with the 3AC liquidation process, calling it an exaggeration by the liquidators. Although both he and Zhu Su claim they are not uncooperative, Teneo is attempting to recover $1.3 billion from them. In September last year, Singapore’s central bank issued a nine-year ban against them for breaching securities laws.
