TechFlow news, Worldcoin posted on X an “Essential Facts About Worldcoin” blog post providing basic information about its operations, rules, and regulations.
The blog emphasizes that Worldcoin operates legally in all locations where it offers services. Worldcoin is designed to fully comply with all laws and regulations governing data collection and data transfer, including the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and Argentina’s Personal Data Protection Law 25.326 (Ley de Protección de los Datos Personales). In the EU, the project is also under the supervision of the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutz).
Worldcoin does not allow minors to join the platform. Each user must confirm in the World App that they are at least 18 years old before undergoing verification via the Orb.
