TechFlow News, according to Decrypt, Carbonated, the studio behind the mobile NFT shooting game MadWorld, has announced $11 million in funding led by South Korean gaming giant Com2uS, with participation from Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), Bitkraft Ventures, Cypher Capital, Blocore, Goal Ventures, and WAGMI Ventures. The studio previously raised $8.5 million in 2020, which also included investments from a16z and Bitkraft.
MadWorld is set to launch publicly sometime in 2024 and is already undergoing testing on both iOS and Android platforms. Its founder, Travis Boatman, is a veteran of the mobile gaming industry who previously held executive roles at Zynga and Electronic Arts.
